About Insureplus

Get Covered

The accountability for organisations to provide a safe working environment, meet the legislative requirements related to employees and ensure directors are meeting their obligations has never been higher. Cases before the Employment Court continue to increase and the costs to defend these claims are expensive. Breaches by directors & officers are also in the spotlight with large fines being awarded.

If you’ve ever tried to get standalone Employment Practices Liability insurance before, you’ll know that SME’s generally can’t, it’s tied up with Management Liability insurance that you may not want, and it’s been too costly to consider. This is one of the many benefits of taking up InsurePlus with the EMA.

InsurePlus helps protect you against these issues by providing you with the right policy at a special EMA member price. For one annual premium, you will receive cover for:

Employment Practices Liability (EPL)

EPL, also known as Employment Disputes, is designed to indemnify both the organisation and its employees (including directors & officers) against personal grievance (PG) claims brought by current, prospective or former employees.

Directors & Officers insurance (D&O)

D&O insurance is designed to protect directors, officers and employees (involved in the management of a company) from personal loss resulting from legal claims made against them whilst undertaking their duties on behalf of the company.
